Sheraine Henry

Registered Massage Therapist

While completing her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, Sheraine played for the York Lions Varsity Volleyball Team. Working with the athletic training staff to overcome ankle and low back injuries throughout her sports career ultimately inspired her to pursue an advanced diploma in Massage Therapy.

Sheraine has experience treating a multitude of conditions including acute, overuse and neurological conditions. From weekend warriors to professional athletes, Sheraine implements evidence-based manual skills and techniques including myofascial release, stretching, muscle energy and deep tissue techniques to help her patients reach their wellness and recovery goals.

Aside from the athletic population, Sheraine had the unique opportunity of working with some of Canada’s top surgeons providing post-operative massage therapy to patients after cosmetic surgery.

As a former athlete, she values the importance of preventative care and is committed to working with patients to treat the root cause of pain/dysfunction, not just the symptoms.
